Arambam Noni Meetei <\/strong>teaches at the Department of Political Science, D. M. University, Manipur, India. He is the co-author of Colonialism and Resistance: Society and Politics in Manipur, 2016 published by Routledge, New Delhi. Arambam has also authored the book entitled 1949: The Story of India\u2019s Takeover of Manipur, 2018 published by CADM, Manipur. He received his Doctoral and Masters\u2019 degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He occasionally writes for newspapers and is a keen political commentor on contemporary issues in the region. Currently, he is the Executive Editor, Alternative Perspectives.
